The first charity marathon, then called Classic Games Done Quick, was held in January 2010. Thanks to him, they were able to raise $ 10,000 for Care (Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Erywhere) – a large international independent, non -governmental humanitarian organization. In 2011, also in January, AWESOME Games Done Quick was held, which allowed to raise 50,000 dollars for Prevent Cancer Foundation – a charitable organization engaged in the prevention of cancer. In the same year, in August, Summer Games Done Quick was held. The funds received, thanks to him, were sent to the organization of autism (Organization for autism Research).

After that, charitable marathons are held 2 times a year: AWESOME Games Done Quick (in January) and Summer Games Done Quick (in the summer, usually in July). Only once a tradition was violated. So, in April 2011, an unplanned Japan Relief Done Quick Marathon was held, dedicated to the fundament to help the victims of the earthquake in Japan.

Funds received from the last marathons are sent to two organizations: DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS (doctors without borders) and Prevent Cancer Foundation (Cancer Prevention Fund), while the event has reached a considerable scope, so the last AGDQ marathon collected 1.216 thousand. dollars.
